Family events are a time to enjoy time together and what better way to do that than with an interactive show designed to entertain everyone from the very youngest to the very oldest, I mean, the babes in arms may not really get what’s going on but the rest will. I’ve found the best way to do it is to bill me as a kids show, that way the adults don’t feel pressured into watching but you’ll find they’ll slowly get drawn in by some of the ridiculous stuff I do and enjoy it just as much as, if not more than the kids. I usually do about an hour at family events like this with a 45 min show and 15 minutes for everyone to learn a bit of plate spinning and juggling at the end, you’ll be surprised at how competitive the adults (usually the dads) get when they struggle to spin a plate.

I get asked a lot to perform for the kids in a separate room whilst the speeches are on at weddings, I’m more than happy to do this, I just insist on a number of adults being there that know the kids or are designated child minders. This lets me entertain the kids rather than rather than crowd control a few that have had a few too many Coca-Colas. It sounds like I’m speaking from experience doesn’t it, yeah, that wasn’t a fun day.
